2 teaspoons fennel seeds
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds pork loin roast
2-3 small potatoes, skinned and
cubed
1 cup chicken broth

from this cookbook)
Combine first 6 ingredients.
Rub into pork.
Brown under broiler (briefly – 6-9 minutes each
side).
Put potatoes in crock pot.
Place pork on top of potatoes.
Pour broth over all.
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
